"MAKE A WISH" UPDATED

This morning I woke in my new place. For the first time, in nearly twenty-two months, I feel one hundred percent safe, happy and *HOME,* at last. I humbly thank God for every single blessing I've received. I moved out of another terrible situation into one that seems to be exactly what I need.

So, I made it into Alameda late last night.  It was an uneventful journey, aside from the alarming price of gas.  Nearly four dollars a gallon in some areas!  It's a lot, but I am okay with paying a little more because I'm happy for the Middle East that they, too, are stealing their independence back.  Go YOUS!  Everyone needs and deserves it.  I know I DO!

HELLO FELLOW DREAMERS!  HOW WAS YOUR WEEK? I'm getting pretty used to *AWESOME* as my answer.  This week flew by, while I worked on my foundation for the future.  Dream Check Fridays are keeping me on track and I look forward to reading about your goals and the experience of accomplishing them together so, LET'S DO THIS!

Well, I can’t help but put a little disclaimer here, because I don’t have nearly the seething hatred for AA that our two-fisted hostess does, and no firsthand experience with the organization at all.  I do know a few people who got into AA and sobered up and stayed that way, and good for them.

AA IS A BROKEN BAND AID

Houston, we have a problem!  Society is messed up.  I call myself a GEN-X Chick because I am exactly that.  I grew up in the 70's, post Vietnam, post all of the social movements of the sixties, including Civil Rights, The SECOND WAVE Feminism (there have been three waves so far, I plan to CAUSE THE FOURTH), Anti War, and Free Speech.

What do you think about how I turned out?
